The room was buzzing at the recent FCA Business Essentials National Excellence in Franchising Awards Gala Dinner held in Brisbane, where Geotech Information Services won the Supplier of the Year Award. The Awards recognise and reward excellence in franchising, and provide a platform for companies and individuals to showcase the amazing work they are doing in the franchising sector. Geotech were amongst an exceptional field of Awards entrants in 2022, and were proud and honoured to receive the award. On the night, Jeff Vassel (Global Business Development Manager) and Vanessa Wilmot (Operations Director) accepted the award on behalf of the Geotech team.

Geotech endeavour to give back to the franchise community in both Australia and New Zealand. Geotech can regularly be found at conferences and events, including the recent FANZ National Franchise Conference in Wellington where Geotech had a booth and facilitated a round table discussion on ‘Effective Property & Network Planning – In The New Normal’. Geotech also play a vital role within the Women In Franchising Committee. “We are driven to help others, not only to help franchises succeed and stop them making the wrong and often costly decisions, but also through the work we do as part of the FCA Women In Franchising Committee” says Vanessa Wilmot. “We are proud to have helped raise awareness on Workplace Wellness through helping organise events and panel discussions on this topic, and have helped raise donations for charities supporting mental health”.
